FlowerTalk’s Japan Floral Crown Workshop

FlowerTalk was invited to Toyama, Japan to host a Floral Crown Workshop on 20 June 2019. The workshop was hosted by Marie Fushiki and she did such a fabulous job for our workshop at Asahiyama Park in Himi-city.

I want to thank you to florist extraordinaire Mr. Fujiki for the best selection of amazingly beautiful blooms for the workshop.

The girls did such a fabulous job and I am super proud of their creations and for many of them are their first time attempt! WOW!!!

Thank you to Kai from Kaiphotographyjapan for being there to captured that day so beautifully and not to mentioned she also did a crown for herself:)

Photoshoot for our favourite fur friends

Photoshoot for our favourite fur friends

Natalija Brunovs from We are all stardust photographer and FlowerTalk team together to do an Flower Crowns photo shoot for our favourite fur friends. There were 16 dogs we have selected and is my job to create a flowers crown for each dog based on their personality.

We had a very amusing and sometimes frustrating time trying to keep the flowers crown on the dogs with lots of treats and praises:) This takes lots of time and patience and it took us in total 12+ hours to photographed all the dogs on that day! I must said is definitely one of my highlights of my career.

Groom & Groomsman Buttonholes

Groom & Groomsman Buttonholes

It is not often we do a blog on Groom & Groomsman buttonholes. So it’s about time this blog is all about lapel flowers for the men. Traditionally, the Groom’s buttonhole matches the Bride’s bouquet and this is pinned onto the left hand side of the lapel or pocket. I have also done a few pocket square flowers for the groom or a traditional small pin flower if the groom prefers a simple flower or greenery.
